Moderation
Press Release

Good moderation is an essential for top events or television. The use of the right words is one of the key factors to channelling the audience’s mood and ensures that the event or product is properly staged. The presentation should be smoothly professional but by no means obvious.

Alexandra Polzin’s moderation is friendly and laid-back. Her moderation is accompanied by the right measure of competence which furnishes even the most unspectacular topics  with a zestful touch.

It was with a lot of enthusiasm that Alexandra discovered her interest in the media at a very early age.

Born in Berlin in November 1975 she studied law and did a journalism traineeship with NBC Europe and spent some time in the USA.

At the same time she continued her professional education, taking voice training and attending acting classes. Early on professional presentation coaching rounded off her profile. Her journalism traineeship was followed by work in fashion and small rôles in films and television.

Alexandra put her presentation skills into practice thereby developing an excellent grounding in this by presenting fashion shows, trade fairs and gala events.

In 2001 she made her debut as a live TV presenter at the ”NBC GIGA/GAMES” on NBC EUROPE. Here she was not only responsible for the presentation but also worked in the editorial office thereby broadening her experience. After this first TV show Alexandra worked for Tele5, RTL Digital and ARD PREMIERE. In 2006 she worked for the TV travel magazine “Reisen und Genießen” <Travelling and Enjoying> for Focus Gesundheit <health> followed by “e.clips”, the film magazine on PremiereStar, as well as FC Bayern TV.

Furthermore, in 2008 Alexandra interviewed RTL Süd stars for the star magazine ”München exklusiv“ and accompanied them to location shootings.

In 2011 she started moderating for E!Entertainment Deutschland.
